Cute Elephant For The Baby

Blue elephants (I tried pink but it didn’t show up well in the photo) invading your baby blanket!  This cute color block is very easy and quick to double-knit loom knit.  Not only cute for baby blankets but perfect for that tote, scarf or other project for that elephant lover you know.

Each block in the pattern represents one stitch. The blue blocks represent the blue stitches, white blocks are the white stitches.  Viewing the chart above, we will work from bottom up. You’ll want to wrap your blue yarn first in the row, then follow with wrapping the white yarn.

 

When starting a project, cast on using the Stockinette stitch, then begin following the pattern.  Hook over after each completed row.

 

Continue following the chart, wrapping the blue yarn first, then white yarn in each row, then hook over.
